Making an impact and improving lives doesn't require fame, flashy gadgets, or wads of cash. Time, passion, and a big heart are all you need. But does volunteering only a few minutes each month actually make a difference? Today I sat down with Tomasa Velediaz, a real-life community superhero, to learn the answer. Growing up in Mexico, she often found herself begging for food. As a teenager, she moved to this country, ready to work hard and improve her life. And she decided to teach kids an important lesson about the environment in the process. After all, sometimes the simplest projects move the biggest mountains.
